Our Breeding Philosophy and Goals

At Little Field Labradors, our fundamental goal is simple:
to raise healthy, well-balanced Labrador Retrievers that thrive as lifelong companions in loving homes.

We are a small, home-based breeder, which allows us to be intentional with every decision we make. Each dog in our program is carefully selected, health tested, and bred to meet breed standards, with a clear focus on improving the genetics of the Labrador Retrievers, not diluting or compromising them.

Health, structure, temperament, and intelligence all matter. We believe responsible breeding means making thoughtful pairings that support longevity, sound minds, and strong bodies, so our dogs are set up for success not just as puppies, but throughout their lives.

Just as important as genetics is how our puppies are raised. Our dogs are born and raised in our home, where they are loved from the very beginning and exposed to real-life sights, sounds, people, and experiences early on. This early socialization helps build confident, adaptable dogs who transition smoothly into family life and the real world.

Our goal isn’t volume.
